We developed the LC model as the result of a requriement to meet the needs of frugal shoppers who are looking for a 4 sesons insulated and built fifthwheel and find that our GS models are just a little bit beyond their budget. Our lower cost LC models save money by installing a flat, non-molded fiberglass rear wall. We also subtracted just a little bit from the high cost features of our GS models (ie. some decor items from the interior) but left the "real good stuff" i.e. the air-ride suspension with 16" wheels, day & night pleated shades and the front molded aerodynamic cap. We ended up with the LC model which should help fit more shoppers' budgets.
Our LC Americana models are produced and warranted by management owned
Forest River, Inc., currently the largest trailer and fifthwheel company in
the United States. Our fifthwheels are made on a quality motorhome
production line. The LC model is a tough, relatively light-weight,
liveable, four seasons insulated, towable, good quality, affordable
fifthwheel that has many feature upgrades that are only found on
top-of-the-line fifthwheels. Americana models are constructed with
motorhome quality: solid vacuum bonded 2 inch thick welded aluminum frame
walls and a dent resistant fiberglass skin for excellent insulation and
lasting durability. Standard features include: LC air-ride suspension, 16
inch wheels with big 12" hydraulic brakes as an option, aerodynamic molded
nose cap, durable porcelain toilet, strong & trouble free hydraulic
slide-outs and special 4 seasons insulation. Offered in two floorplan sizes:
A 31/32 rear kitchen or LC36/37RL triple slide/triple axle rear livingroom.
